We went on Thursday; I didn’t like all the films, but it got better towards the end. The very last one touched me deeply.
HIBERNATION (United Kingdom, 2005, Colour, 15min) by John Williams1985. A secret tree house. Two children disguised in animal costumes experiment to revive a bee. In fact, they are searching for a way to bring back something much bigger.
It didn’t win any award but I’ll remember the kindhearted story.
The second special mention was awarded to the French-Senegalese film OUSMANE directed by Dyane Gaye.
Jury verdict: We liked this film for the naiveté, generosity and brightness of childhood against the materialism of the adult world. Ousmane has nothing, but he is rich of his own imagination and dreams.
Ousmane, I wish I was a little bit like him sometimes… we all should be…

Hay sitio. Dont worry. Viene Sylvia y la hermana de Tony, Jenifer, te acuerdas de ella?
