I listened to this song on the radio... and it was like the lyrics were reading my mind...

Closed my door, forgot my key
Missed my bus in the pouring rain
It’s been the usual sunday with a flu
And I just can’t get over you

Burnt my toast and lost your number
Cut my finger, spilled my beer
It’s been the usual sunday with a flu
And I just can’t get over you

I put your stockings in my purple boots
What if I don’t get over you ?

Had a chat and left my hat
Pet my dog and walked my cat
It’s been the usual sunday with a flu
And I just can’t get over you

I put your stockings in my purple boots
What if I don’t get over you ?

Called the cabbage, threw the garbage

Asked for help and got some kelp
It’s been the usual sunday with a flu
And I just can’t get over you

Nein, nein, nein...

Today, 9/9/09 special date?

Well I was never very keen on number 9; it was never my favorite. In fact today is just any other ordinary day…

Well maybe not that ordinary, I wont get into details – not like anyone cares – but I am recovering from a little “accident”, again nothing serious. And I've got to say, that all day I have felt a bit dizzy and sick (pregnant? I dunno…) but I guess is from the “accident”.
Lucy in the sky with diamonds didn’t cry too much when I left her at the nursery, very strange. But apart from that, nothing peculiar to be mentioned.

Lina is leaving back to Madrid tomorrow. We will miss her. She has spent a month with us, and she has become part of the little BozPez crew. I hope she had a good time, and that she will remember the French and Czech she's learnt – though she was supossed to practice her English!! Hope to see you back in Prague soon!

Number 9 in English is pronounced exactly like the German negation “Nein”…. Mmmmm

18 Months

Lucia you turned 18 months today; a year and half. You are now a little girl, you are a baby no more. 11kilos and 77cm of happiness that run all over the place. We couldn’t ask for more, could we?

You are in perfect shape and full of energy. At the end of the day I don’t know who’s more exhausted… I think I could easily go to bed along with you. Your days are getting more and more exciting, right? We started going to the nursery last week, new friends, new toys and I guess plenty of lovely things that will come around. Wish you could share every single one of them with me. But it’s time for mommy to let you go and enjoy games with your new little friends. Unfortunately I can’t keep you just for me all the time.

In the meantime mom has gone back to full time work. It’s hard for me too, believe me; I could cry every morning remembering how good it was to loaf around in bed as the sun raised, wondering about the day ahead of us… great times, right?

You started to speak, although we still not get everything you say, we should get a frenchspanishczech baby dictionary...
