what if... saison2

Each time it's taking me longer to say something on the blog. Either i don’t have time or i just don’t feel like it.

Anyway, plenty of things to say (debriefing):

+ My little cousin David (another David in my life…) dropped by. We spent one night together; I took him chez Marcel, where he met one of the wildest and dearest friends I have in Prague; and later (much later) we went dancing to Bombay. It was nice seeing you in Prague; you proved to be a real PEREZ "pura sangre" (if you know what I mean) :)
“it’s not time to make a change, just relax take it easy, you’re still young that’s your fault, there’s so much you have to go through…” I will always remember.

+ Then we celebrated David’s birthday at… chez Marcel, again. “And the oscar goes to…Peeeedro, ups I mean Christophhhhhe” Another wacky night. Nice presents too. This was out and away the best 29th anniversary ever. Pre-celebration in Prague on Thursday 15th; and 2nd celebration in Madrid on Saturday the 17th. Thanks Christophe for a wonderful alcoholic night, as usual, and thanks Maria and Co. for another “tapitas&copitas” night in Madrid.

4 days in Madrid. Already back in the office. I’m sorry I didn’t get to see everyone, as always it was too short. But I’ll come back soon, I promise.

What if...?

If you could go back in time… do you think you would do things differently?

This thought already flew my mind before, and I can help asking myself…would it change anything? Would the events in our lives take a different way?

What if I had never left for France? What if I had chosen a different destination for my Erasmus? At first I dreamt about going to Helsinki…lucky me I changed mi mind. Stockholm was a better choice, the forth in my list. The Swedish guys are so cute, or so I believed!

But in the end, I was granted my first option Paris. What a wonderful time. I have no regrets at all. And although it wasn’t always with “happy-ending”, I will always remember those 5 years tenderly.

This photo dates from 2004, or was it 2005? I went to Grenoble to visit my dear Jorge. One of my dearest friends; always been there for me. Of course we went skiing, Saturday to the “2 Alps” and Sunday to “Tignes”. You know, with his Clio 4x4 from Burgos - we travelled the world. The weather was just perfect and the snow…simply marvellous. I remember it had been snowing non-stop for a week and that Saturday the sun came out from its petite hibernation. Plenty of snow; not like lately… a pity.

Tandori Poulet

Just when the snow was gone completely, it started snowing again. The streets were clean this morning, at this afternoon they got wet once again. But this time, is kind of soft. Let’s see how the city wakes tomorrow.

Tonight David is trying a new receipt: Tandori chicken. Yummy!! I’m hungry and it smells delicious.
